We have announced the third edition of the award and in its two previous editions has received nearly twenty thousand stories received a hundred countries. This confirms that the Micro stories Award is an initiative that encompasses people, cultures and nations of many different traditions.

The competition is open to writers anywhere in the world and their stories can be written in English, Spanish, Arabic or Hebrew. The overall first prize will be $ 20,000 for the best story and three second prizes will be awarded $ 1,000 for the best stories in each of the other languages.

In this edition the theme of the stories was, "Word and Freedom."This is the inspiration for all participants.
